Many states and countries are implementing age verification laws for social media.
In order for KrackSocial to continue to be accessed from those states and countries we would need to ask for
your ID.
Alternatively, KrackSocial can block states and countries with age verifications laws but there are
many with more coming, including the state we operate out of and the state where the KrackSocial server
resides. This is not a viable option.
Another option is ignoring the laws but eventually that will result in large fines, imprisonment, and
services the website uses suspending us.
Age Verification Law Countries
The following countries have age new verification laws for social media (or adult websites) or are
working on them:
In addition to the above, the
European Union is also working on age verification laws
which includes many countries and there's a large number of states in the United States creating laws as
well.
Age Verification Laws In The United States
The following
states now have age verification laws
for social media or are working on new laws right now. Some states laws are being challenged in
court so they may not be actively enforced yet. At least one state has an exemption for small sites like
KrackSocial.

Social Media's Response, Fines, and Restrictions
-
Bluesky has implemented ID age verification
for anyone accessing the site from the
United Kingdom
and
Ohio.
Additionally, Bluesky has blocked
anyone accessing the site from Mississippi.
-
The United Kingdom is fining Imgur (a United States company) for not verifying the age of those
accessing their content from the United Kingdom. As a result,
Imgur has blocked the United Kingdom.
-
Reddit is verifying users age
but isn't specific about for whome besides those accessing the site from the United Kingdom and for
adult content only. Reddit uses a 3rd party service to verify IDs (which has a starting price of
$250/mo).
- Spotify, Telegram, and others
are also checking IDs for those in the UK.
- The United Kingdom is fining 4chan
(a United States company) for ignoring the UK's Online Safety Act for $26,700.
- YouTube is using AI for guessing your age in the
United States and may require proof you're over 18.
- Xbox is limiting features starting in 2026
for everyone in the UK unless ID or other proof of age is provided. You can bet this will be expanded to
the US and other countries due to new age verification laws.
- Reddit and Kick added to Australia's new
child social media ban. Australia's world-first social media ban for children under 16 will apply to
messaging board Reddit and live-streaming platform Kick, joining Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook
and Instagram, which includes Threads, as "age-restricted" from December 10.
- Age verification could soon land in Russia.
On October 21, a member of the Russian Civic Chamber, Yevgeny Masharov, proposed a plan to force all
internet users to prove their age. This would involve using their passport data, driver's license, or
bank information to access online content intended for an 18+ audience.
- Italy will be the latest country to require age
verification, but just for adult sites (for now).
Government ID Leaks From ID Verification
What About KrackSocial?
Sadly, this is the end of KrackSocial. The Internet is going through a drastic change. Rather than trying to
comply with varying laws from many states and countries, not to mention having to check your ID, KrackSocial
has once again shut down.
All data from KrackSocial has been deleted. This includes all profile information, pictures, and account
details (such as your username and email address). All of it is gone for your protection.
It's no coincidence that age verification is happening all over the world at the exact same time.
